Wigging it out!

Hi there,
How has it been? I have been given the all clear and I'm back to blogging! Hurrah for thunder :-)
Its so good to be back. Like I said in my last post I have been protective styling with wigs for a couple of months now and I looove it! Wigs are a fuss free way of keeping my hair protected from, unnecessary manipulation and the elements especially the SUN!! They also give me the opportunity to sport different looks at the drop of a hat. I find that it saves time as I'm done with my hair in less than 5 minutes and its painless too. I also find it super easy to take care of my hair underneath, I just take off the wig and feel my hair if its dry I spritz and seal and that's all.  I prepare my hair for my wigs by cowashing or shampooing (depending on what my hair needs) followed by the LOC method after which  I cornrow my hair. I usually redo my cornrows every Friday or Saturday. Super easy life!! I'll like to share a few of my wigs with you:

My first wig. Its a lace front and I rocked it for a looong time!

  2. Presently rocking a wig and I can say its the best thing that's happened to my hair this year!
    Its soo easy!
And I feel a lot free-er. I just come home and take it off and let air into my scalp.
Its truly refreshing and I'm thinking of buying more wigs.
I just need to start taking care of my hair.

    Lovely collection you've got.

  4. I never knew you were based in nigeria. Always used to feel that its only blacks abroad that have time for the natural hair wahala. Good going girl! I've been rocking my natural hair for over a year now. I'm going to lock it in dreads for a while. I also have at least 5 wigs and the feeling is awesome. I can sleep properly, play freely and when I'm taking a shower there is nothing like feeling the water on your scalp. Bliss! You've got an awesome blog and keep it up girl!

DIY// HOW TO MAKE AN APPLICATOR BOTTLE

Hi guys,      I hope you are all doing well. I have missed blogging so much and I feel really good that I can now so it more often since my schedule is getting a bit less crowded. I also hope you like the new blog design.     If you live in Nigeria then you are aware that things are getting out of hand financially. The recession is hitting really hard and it seems no one is immune. Inspite of this I do not want my Fro to suffer so I am working on making a lot of homemade products and utensils to ensure my hair doesn't feel the strain of the harsh economy.    Today I will be showing you how to make an APPLICATOR bottle from any old plastic bottle you have at home. Why bother you ask? Read my post about different ways to use an  Applicator bottle .       Let's get right into it. How to create a a sleek faux bun with short natural hair!!!!

Hi people!    So its been a while since my last post and I apologize. I have been all kinds of busy but I have got something really cool for you all today. I haven't really done any hairstyle posts on this blog  because in my bid to retain length I just cornrow and throw on a wig. I have been doing that for months with the random Afro-puff thrown in once in awhile but this week I just wasn't  in the mood for any of my wigs. I decided to finally do something I have been dying to do: a faux bun!! Its super easy just follow the steps below and you'll be rocking your faux bun in a couple of minutes :-)                                                                                                Preparing my hair I stretched my hair with my cornrows first. I took out the braids then moisturised and sealed: My stretched hair  I sectioned my hair into 2 parts. I started from the front section. I added some Ecostyler gel, brushed it lightly with a toothbrush and pulled
